Under-sink organizers: find a fit around your pipes
Start with the space beside your pipes. A narrow caddy needs a clear path forward; a turntable needs room to spin. Those two measurements can rule out a poor fit before you spend anything.

Measure the cabinet with the door open
Take everything out and measure each open area beside the plumbing. Check the narrowest point between the hinges, the depth to the back wall, and the height below the sink bowl. Keep shut-off valves and pipe joints within reach. If the cabinet has a centre divider, measure each door opening separately.

Choose the shape before the brand
For a long, narrow space, look at a caddy you can pull out. A turntable suits an open patch of cabinet floor where bottles can rotate without hitting a pipe. You don't need to use the whole cabinet width: a smaller organizer that moves freely is often easier to use than a tight-fitting one.
Try the footprint on paper
For a 12-inch turntable, cut a paper circle 30.48 cm across. Set it on the cabinet floor and turn it, then check the space above it with your tallest bottle in place. For the narrow caddy below, mark a 16.8 by 46.2 cm rectangle and slide it through the door opening. Neither check proves the loaded organizer will work, but both can reveal an obvious obstruction.
When a mounted pull-out makes sense
A drawer on fixed rails can help with a deep cabinet, but the rails, mounting hardware and open drawer all need room. Read the installation instructions before buying. In a rental, confirm that you can drill into the cabinet. A loose caddy may be the simpler choice if you can't.
Try what you already own
An existing washable bin may do the job. Put the supplies you use most near the front and try the layout for a few days. Keep cleaning products in their original labelled containers and follow their storage instructions. Deal with leaks before adding storage.
